Processing
To ensure the finished product is of the highest quality, we must start with quality fiber, which includes minimal vegetation, consistent staple length, and good tensile strength. Dragonfly Farm & Fiber Mill reserves the right to refuse any fleece with insect infestation, or excessive vegetative matter.
There is a normal amount of weight loss from your fiber, it can sometimes be as much as 60% weight loss, this comes from the removal of dirt, grease, dust and will be increased if extra skirting is necessary.
